The Thule Motion 3 XL is one of our most popular roof boxes and an excellent choice for families who need extra space when the car is already full of passengers.
With a generous 500-litre capacity, it’s ideal for medium to large cars, including SUVs, estates, 4WDs, and MPVs—perfect for holidays, family trips, and longer journeys.
The Thule Motion 3 XL features dual-side opening (one side at a time) for easy access and is fully lockable for peace of mind. Thanks to the innovative Easy Snap mounting system, fitting is quick and straightforward, while the patented Dual-Force suspension ensures smooth, gentle opening and closing of the lid.
We primarily use the Thule Motion 3 XL when fitting a roof box to your vehicle. The box is available in a sleek silver finish.
Please note that adding a roof box can increase your vehicle’s height by up to 75 cm, depending on the box and roof bars fitted. If you’re travelling by ferry or Eurostar, this may mean your vehicle needs to be booked into the over-height vehicle category.
For peak summer school holiday periods, we strongly recommend booking as early as possible to secure availability.
